Kabik Lake Project

Location & Access

Situated 50 kilometers northwest of Dryden, Ontario, and easily accessible via Highway 72 and by boat, the Kabik Lake Property is well-positioned within a mining-friendly jurisdiction. Key infrastructure—including the Trans-Canada Highway, CP Rail, hydroelectric power, and natural gas—is readily available nearby, supporting future development.

Regional Geology & Structure

Kabik Lake lies within a dynamic structural corridor, fault-bounded by the Little Vermillion Fault to the north and the Wabigoon Fault to the south. The property is transected by the Manitou Deformation Zone, a second-order structural feature typical of Archean gold camps like Timmins and Kirkland Lake. These structural controls are critical in localizing gold mineralization throughout the region.

Precious Metal Occurrences

The property hosts two former gold workings and an additional documented gold showing. Despite this, Kabik Lake has seen no reported modern diamond drilling or assessment work, underscoring its status as an underexplored opportunity with significant discovery potential.

Exploration

The Kabik Lake Property remains largely untouched by modern exploration. Given its proximity to the 4.2-million-ounce Goliath Gold Complex—with high-grade shoots and expansion potential—the property offers an outstanding exploration runway using contemporary geological methods and drilling strategies.

Former producer

Located 75 km southwest of Timmins, this 4,957-hectare property sits within the mineral-rich Abitibi Subprovince, traversed by the Hardiman Deformation Zone—an offshoot of the gold-rich Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone. Despite hosting a former producer and multiple occurrences, the property has seen minimal modern exploration, offering significant upside.
