Horwood Project

Location & Access

Located just 75 kilometers southwest of Timmins, Ontario, the Horwood Property benefits from excellent access via Highway 101, logging roads, and former mine production roads. Timmins is a major mining hub with abundant infrastructure, skilled workforce availability, and strong community support for resource development.

Regional Geology & Structure

The property is positioned within the prolific Swayze Greenstone Belt of the Abitibi Subprovince, a region famed for hosting major gold deposits. It is traversed by the Hardiman Deformation Zone (HDZ), a significant structural splay off the Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone, which underpins many world-class gold camps, including Timmins. This structurally dynamic setting creates excellent potential for significant mineralization.

Precious Metal Occurrences

Horwood hosts numerous gold occurrences, including a formerly producing gold mine and an adjacent gold deposit. The concentration of mineralization along recognized deformation zones highlights the property’s outstanding exploration upside.

Exploration

Despite its promising geology, the Horwood Property has seen little systematic modern exploration. Neighboring work by GFG Resources has validated the Hardiman Deformation Zone’s potential with new gold discoveries and ore-grade drill intercepts, positioning Horwood as a compelling exploration target.

Former producer

Located 75 km southwest of Timmins, this 4,957-hectare property sits within the mineral-rich Abitibi Subprovince, traversed by the Hardiman Deformation Zone—an offshoot of the gold-rich Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone. Despite hosting a former producer and multiple occurrences, the property has seen minimal modern exploration, offering significant upside.
