Anthony Balic
CEO, President & Promoter
Anthony Balic is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and serves as CEO, President, and promoter of Avventura Resources. He has led the Company since November 2024, following his role as CEO of Avventura BC beginning in February 2023. Mr. Balic brings extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, and capital markets, having held senior roles at several junior public resource companies.
He is also Principal of Katuni Capital Corp., advising private and public firms, and previously served as a senior manager at Deloitte LLP specializing in assurance for publicly listed mining companies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.
Mark Lotz
Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary & Director
Mark Lotz is a CPA with over 26 years of financial leadership experience across the mining, technology, SaaS, and financial services sectors. He serves as CFO, Corporate Secretary, and Director of Avventura Resources, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, capital markets, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Lotz previously held senior finance roles in various exploration and mining companies and has also served as a securities regulator and senior executive in the brokerage industry. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a joint major in Economics.
John Hiner
Director & Chairman
John Hiner is a seasoned geologist with more than 45 years of exploration experience in geothermal energy, precious metals, and industrial minerals. He has been instrumental in eight resource discoveries, five of which have advanced to active production.
Since 2009, Mr. Hiner has focused on lithium exploration and currently serves as Director and Chairman of Avventura Resources. He has been with the Company since November 2024 and with Avventura BC since April 2022.
Eric Allard
Director
Eric Allard is a geological engineer with over two decades of exploration and operations management experience across the mining, oil & gas, and engineering sectors. He has held senior leadership roles, including VP of Operations at multiple junior mining companies operating in Canada and Africa.
Mr. Allard has served as a Director of Avventura Resources since April 2022 and is a registered member of the Ordre des IngƩnieurs du QuƩbec.
John Pallot
Director
John Pallot brings over 30 years of business leadership experience across telecommunications and the resource sector. He has served as CEO and President of Windarra Minerals Ltd. and West African Iron Ore Corp., and has held board positions with multiple public resource companies since 1993.
Mr. Pallot has been a Director of Avventura Resources since November 2024 and of Avventura BC since February 2023.
